Automotive Lean Green Network
This network enables SMEs in the automotive supply chain to focus on the implications that implementing the current "Lean Green" prinicples for each sector may have on workforce procedures, operational issues, finance and market positioning. This is especially relevant to companies who are affected by IPPC regulations, but is also relevant to any company having to improve and upgrade processes to meet legal or best practice requirements.
By becoming a member of the network, companies will be able to understand, develop and implement strategies for utilising "Lean Green" thinking through sharing ideas and resources and looking at ways in which they can all:
- Assist their planning for environmental performance from a lean manufacturing process and raise awareness of business benefits of implementing a lean green approach
- Support learning opportunities within the network through seminars and workshops, and through access to existing online learning/knowledge banks
- Assist towards ISO14001
- Provide a "one-stop-shop" for information on the latest developments and publications relating to Environmental Lean Green Manufacturing
