Pro Enviro measured resource consumption throughout the various processes to develop a process optimisation plan based on rationalising resource consumption. Typically savings of 10% or greater are identified during this type of exercise, equating in this case to around £60,000 per annum.
The majority of companies examine monthly energy and water invoices, but these contain little useful information. We looked at detailed hourly and daily consumption data in order to identify waste and then to worked with Metafin to eliminate this waste. We identified improved methods and technologies to be transferred in the manufacturing systems and equipment designs for the new site.
