Business Link East
Design and delivery of a training and capacity building programme for the Business Link East Advisors in the purpose and use of the 'Green Review'.
Following discussion with Business Link East, we designed and delivered their training and capacity-building programme for the Business Link East Advisors in the purpose and use of the ‘Green Review’. This tool is a simple diagnostic process aimed at supporting the advisors to identify resource efficiency issues and opportunities within client businesses. The training provides the advisors with the necessary knowledge and understanding of resource efficiency to let them evaluate which support mechanism or most appropriate business support programme would best aid the exploitation of identified opportunities.
The training also enables the advisors to identify where client SMEs have resource issues and enables them to provide more effective support and guidance to the client, as well as providing support to the advisor in making recommendations, signposting or referral to further business support available to the client.
Delivery of Training to Business Link East (BLE) Advisors commenced at the beginning of April 2009, less than one month after the project inception.
