The IYRE programme is implemented across the regions; emda have contracted Pro Enviro to deliver the programme in the East Midlands, providing specialist resource efficiency support to businesses in the region, including 1-2-1, specialist, onsite support for businesses, with the aim of making each business’s use of utilities more economically efficient and carbon lean.
Our resulting report includes analysis and detailed assessment of how materials, energy, waste, water, materials, processes can be reduced (as appropriate), along with an action plan to stimulate implementation and guidance on how the results are expected to yield carbon savings. Where appropriate, the report gives the expected payback period and/or return on investment, along with referral to other publicly funded support programmes.
This initial process is followed up with ongoing support, to assist the business in implementing the recommendations.
