East Midlands Development Agency (emda) is offering free support to help your business access up to £100,000 from the Carbon Trust.
Benefits
Free expert support – You will be provided with a dedicated business energy specialist who will support you with the entire process, from choosing
the best equipment, to completing your loan application and getting it approved, as well as advising on purchase and installation.
Interest free – The loan bears no interest, making it the cheapest way to fund on-going cost savings.
Fee free – There are no application or processing fees for the loan, the amount borrowed is the amount to be repaid.
Cash-flow neutral – The loan repayments are designed to match the anticipated savings over a period of up to four years.
Tax efficient – You can maximise your investment by claiming Enhanced Capital Allowances if the equipment is listed on the Energy Technology List.
Eligibility
If your company is a Small to Medium sized Enterprise (SME) located in the East Midlands and has been trading for more than a year you may qualify for this support.
The Carbon Trust can provide eligible companies with an interest-free loan of up to £100,000 to purchase equipment that significantly reduces energy costs. Now, emda is making it simpler than ever for businesses in the East Midlands to acquire the loans and significantly increase their profits.
What can I purchase?
The loan can fund anything from lighting, heating and insulation through to motors, compressors and refrigeration, as long as the new equipment cuts your carbon emissions and energy bills by a significant amount.
