On Thursday, November 27, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) will be hosting local Vancouver business leaders to help them gain insight and clarity on the business impact of climate change, associated business opportunities and tax incentives, as well as how to deal with changing environmental responsibility and compliance.
The session brings national and international climate change and tax experts to the table where attendees will be provided with details on the science and regulatory overview, direct/indirect tax and accounting issues, and overall insights and experience to date.
Further, attendees at the breakfast will also have the opportunity to participate in a lively and timely panel discussion about business implications and opportunities, lessons learned from PwC Australia's Andrew Petersen who has extensive carbon credentials including being an accredited auditor under the NSW Governments Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme, a verifier under the Federal Governments Greenhouse Friendly Scheme, representation on the Business Council of Australia Greenhouse gas Committee in 2002-2003 and in 2005 as an industry delegate to the Federal Governments representation to the United Nations Conference of Climate Change.
