UK workers 'are morning people'

Workers are at their most productive early in the morning rather than late in the afternoon, a survey suggests.
The study found that most workers thought they worked best between 6am and 3pm rather than nine to five.
Only one in 20 said they were at their most efficient after 3pm, while half said they were best working from home.
Allowing flexible working could boost productivity and benefit the economy, Your Communications, the firm which conducted the survey, added.
Strengthening loyalty
"Most workers believe they work more effectively at different times of the day," said Paul Lawton, Your Communciations spokesman.
"By taking a more open-minded approach to flexible work patterns, employers can bring about business benefits and strengthen employee loyalty."
Under UK employment law, workers with young children and caring responsibilities have the right to ask for flexible working.
However, employers are not duty bound to agree to flexible working but they have to give a reason for refusal.
Business services firm Your Communications interviewed 2,000 UK adults for the survey.
