Rugby Cement is hoping to restart its tyre buring trials after they were halted in the summer of last year.
The Environment Agency stopped the process after the company breached emission levels.
But Cemex UK, the company which owns Rugby Cement, says it has invested in new equipment and machinery which should improve matters.
A new filter has been fitted on to the main kiln which should reduce emissions by up to 40%, the company said.
Tyre burning in cement kilns is seen as an alternative to using fossil fuels.
